Find and download your Bittrex transaction history

Updated over a year ago

Hi there 👋

🎯 We strongly advise you to set up an API connection between Bittrex and Waltio. It is much easier. Setting up the API connection takes a maximum of 5 minutes when downloading the files can take more than an hour! In addition, setting up the API guarantees better data quality and therefore calculation of capital gains .

⚠️ Bittrex is a complex exchange to obtain the transaction history, deposits, and withdrawals ⚠️.

💡 Here, we will only integrate “closed” orders.

Step 1: Log into your Bittrex account

Step 2: Click on the “Orders” tab on the main page

Step 3: Click on the “Download history” button at the top of the “My Order History” table.

Step 4: Save the CSV file and upload it to Waltio

💡 We cannot provide information about fees because the files do not mention them.

We have tried several ways to contact the Bittrex team but all our messages have gone unanswered.

📫 We recommend that you contact them to let them know about your difficulties in recovering your data. Indeed, we are convinced that if this request comes from their customers, it will be prioritised.

⚠️ Opening and saving a CSV file can sometimes modify it's structure, thus blocking automatic lecture by our program. Once files from Bittrex files are downloaded please, do not open them or modify their names so that we can read it correctly !

Thank you.
