Bitget - File

Updated over a week ago

How can I add my Bitget file?

🎯 We strongly advise you to set up an API Connection between Bitget and Waltio. It is much easier and faster (5 minutes) to set up the API connection, while it can take more than an hour for the files!

Moreover, the implementation of the API guarantees a better data quality and therefore a better calculation of capital gains.

We currently only accept Bitget futures files, if you wish to recover other transaction types, you will need to use Waltio File Format or enter them manually. If you want to import your Futures file, please follow the steps below:

1- Bitget Futures File

At the moment we can only support Bitget Futures files. Please follow this tutorial to download the correct file 👇

Step 1: Log into your Bitget account:

Step 2: Within the account section, select "accounts" (depending on what information you wish to export) and then select the "Futures" subcategory.

Step 3: On the right hand side of the page, select "Fund Flow".

Step 4: Select the desired timeframe for the information you wish to export. Make sure your document is being exported as and then press "Download".

Bitget only allow you to export data up to 10 times per month, covering the past 18 months. The export feature is available only on the Bitget website and not on the app.

Step 5: Drop your files on Waltio :

⚠️ Opening and downloading a CSV file can alter its format, impeding our software's automatic reading. Once the file is downloaded, please don't open it and don't rename it! File's name is critical for its deciphering's content.

2- Other Bitget Files

We currently do not support other files from Bitget so we have two solutions:

📑 By using a Waltio file format :

This is an Excel file format that we designed so that you can enter numerous transactions more quickly. You can create them manually or copy/paste them from your non-Waltio file (only paste the values to keep the Waltio file layout).

📝 By adding transactions manually.

At “My Transactions” page, click on “create a new transaction” (on the right side of your screen). Then, you have to choose the type of transaction and fill in the information. Once the transaction has been filled in (price, date, sending and receiving crypto…) click on “return to the list of my transactions.”

Thanks 🙌
