Create an API on Bittrex to automatically upload your trades, deposits and withdrawals from Bittrex to Waltio

Hi there 👋

Step 1: Login to your account on Bittrex

Step 2: Go to the "Settings" tab in the upper right corner.

Step 3: Navigate to the "API Keys" tab on the left.

Step 4: Click on "Add a new key...".

💡 General notes before creating an API key:

  • You must have 2FA enabled on your account to create an API key.

  • You must be logged into our site for at least 3 minutes before creating an API key.

  • Your account identity must be verified to generate an API key.

Step 5: Activate the "READ INFO" parameters that you want to obtain with your API key.

Click "Save" and enter your 2FA code from your authentication application and click "Confirm".

Step 6: Your key and secret will be displayed here. Your secret key will only be displayed once and will disappear after you refresh the page. Be sure to register your secret key.

Step 7: Link your keys to Waltio

💡 We only integrate "closed" orders.

💡 We cannot provide information about fees because the API does not mention them.

💡 Synchronization can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. While waiting for us to retrieve your Bittrex transaction histories, you can drop files from other accounts or connect other APIs.

  1. If you have already deleted your keys, then we will not be able to synchronize automatically. You will have to create a new one.

  2. If you have already modified your keys, then we put in "disabled" mode the APIs encountering errors.

  3. If you correct afterwards, you will have to contact the support service via the chatbot at the bottom right of your screen because we perform weekly synchronizations.

  4. The deletion of the keys automatically leads to the loss of all the modifications (recording of labels, prices, etc...) made on the transactions cover via API.
