This article explains how our auto-correction module works.
Once your tax report is finalized, you may have different corrections to make.
You will have the choice to let Waltio correct the inconsistencies detected during the analysis of your transactions or to correct them manually.
📂 How Auto-correction works
1. Waltio corrects inconsistencies for you (auto-correction)
Waltio offers 3 types of corrections: 👉 Withdrawal to categorize 👉 Negative balance 👉 Price to provide
For each type of warning, we do the following:
Withdrawal to categorize: We consider it a non-taxable event in France. For all other countries, it is considered a taxable event.
Negative balance: We consider the balance to be 0. Having a balance of -4 ETH, for example, is impossible. We therefore use 0. No transaction is created. When calculating taxes, we only consider the balance to be equal to 0.
Price to provide: We consider the token value to be €0.
