The three types of warning on Waltio

Updated over 9 months ago

Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹
โ€‹
Waltio includes a system for validating your transactions in order to provide you with the clearest possible tax report. During the analysis stage, warnings may appear.

Here is the list of possible warnings:

โš–๏ธ Negative balance :

This warning is generated when a transaction seems impossible based on the transactions you have provided us with (a withdrawal or exchange of a cryptocurrency for an amount greater than your balance). The main reason for this warning is that you have not added all your transactions (often associated with a missing file).

To correct this warning, you need to add/delete/modify the transactions in error (by following this article).

๐Ÿท๏ธ Withdrawal to be categorised :

This warning appears when our tool has not found a deposit corresponding to a withdrawal. In most cases, a withdrawal from an exchange or one of your wallets will appear on another exchange or wallet as a deposit, so you won't have any problems.

To correct this warning, you need to label the withdrawal.

๐Ÿ’ก If a withdrawal is not categorised, it will be considered (by default) by the tax authorities as a purchase of goods or services. This transaction will therefore be recorded as a taxable transaction on Waltio.

๐Ÿ’ฒ Price not automatically recovered :

You may encounter this error if we have been unable to retrieve the price of a token on the day of the transaction. The main reasons may be that the token is not listed on the platforms we use, or that these platforms do not have the price available.

To correct this warning, follow this article .
