Hello π
β
You may receive tokens on some of your decentralised wallets or even on your exchange platforms that you have never bought.
β
Most of these airdrops (airdrops) occur on your Binance Smart Chain (BSC) wallet. You can find them at BSC Scan by entering your address, then going to "BEP-20 Tokens Txns".
β
π The process is the same with the Ethereum blockchain: Etherscan β "ERC-20 Tokens Txns".
π And Polygon: Polygonscan β "ERC-20 Tokens Txns".
The majority of the time, these deposits, are linked to "airdrops scams", literally, scams. Malicious people hope that you will exchange them on their platform.
β
π¨ We strongly advise you not to touch them, because by connecting your wallet to their site, you could sign a transaction that would have the action of emptying your wallet.
What to do with these tokens on Waltio?
We suggest two solutions:
β
β Number 1: Delete these transactions
β
β Number 2: Add them to your list of worthless tokens (recommended)
π‘ We are in the process of creating a list of all these scams (scam tokens), in order to add them to our list of worthless tokens.
The list now includes more than 300 tokens.
β
π‘ If your win seems totally inconsistent, it could be an airdrop from a token named Alpaca, Whale, Vera, Stake, Alice, Dinu, Flux, SSX, KICK. Or tokens with a website to visit in their name, as shown in the screenshot below.
We advise you to delete the repositories linked to this token. Here's an article that will help you identify them.
β
π‘ If your win seems completely inconsistent, and you can't find the token in the previous list, it may be a scam bearing the name of a real crypto creating a false valuation in your wallet.
