This tutorial explains how to add your transactions using the Waltio file format, if your exchange platform or crypto wallet is not supported.

1. Download and open the template
Download the template and open it.
2. Choose the transaction type
Choose the type of transaction. You can only choose between:
Deposit
Exchange
Withdrawal
You can find the definitions of each transaction type at the end of this article.
3. Choose the date
Choose the date in the following format (column B — Date):

4. Fill in amounts and tokens
Select the amount and the token received in case of a deposit or exchange.
Choose the amount and token sent in case of withdrawal or exchange.
💡 Amounts sent must be net of fees. Example: if you made a withdrawal of 10 BCH of which 0.1 are fees, fill in 10 - 0.1 = 9.90 in the "Amount Sent" column and 0.1 in the "Fee" column.
5. Fill in the fees
Select the fee amount and fee token if applicable.
6. Fill in the platform name
Indicate the Exchange or Platform in UPPERCASE (e.g.: BINANCE).
If there are two words, add an underscore (_) (e.g.: COINBASE_PRO).

Choose a description for your transaction and a Label. It is not mandatory to add this information — you will be able to do so directly from your account.
7. Upload the file to Waltio
On the My Accounts page, choose Services, then Waltio.
💡 Additional Information
The data must be entered in a "raw" way, i.e. without using a calculation formula. When copying and pasting, paste "respecting the destination formatting". If your file is not correctly read on Waltio, it is probably because of this.
The time must be entered in GMT. In the Waltio interface, we display the time based on the location of your connection. Example: if you add a transaction on December 15, 2021 at 2pm via the Waltio template and are in Paris, in Waltio, it will appear at 1pm.
For margin trading type transactions, add a "Deposit" with the label "Derivatives Gain" if your long or short was profitable. Add a "Withdrawal" with the label "Derivatives Loss" if your trade ended in a loss.
You can use the Waltio advanced file format if you want to fill in more information (time zone, transaction hash, etc.) on your transactions.
The limit of transactions per file is 10,000. If you add more than 10k transactions to your file, they will not be read.
