Integration - Adding an unsupported platform

How do I add transactions from a platform not supported by Waltio?

📝 Description

💡 Waltio now supports over 200 exchanges and wallets. Find the list here.

However, we might not support all the platforms and tools you have used. Good news: you can still add them to your Waltio account.

⚠️ Warnings

  • The data you create for unsupported platforms is used for tax calculations, but is not reflected in real-time portfolio tracking. For more information, read our dashboard overview article.

  • For French tax residents: We do not provide information to declare foreign accounts for platforms not supported by Waltio.

📂 Method 1: Create your transactions manually

  1. Go to your Transactions page.

  2. In the top right corner, click ➕ Add transactions.

  3. Select the transaction type:

    • Deposit for a deposit on the platform

    • Withdrawal for a withdrawal from the platform

    • Trade for a swap between two assets

  4. Platform field: Enter the name of the platform.

  5. Date field: Select the date and time from the calendar.

  6. Tokens: Fill in the amounts and ticker symbols of the relevant tokens.

  7. You can add more transactions by clicking the Withdrawal +, Deposit +, and Trade + buttons at the top of your screen.

  8. To confirm, click the Add X transaction(s) button in the top right corner.

📂 Method 2: Fill out a template file

We have created an Excel template file known as the Waltio format. You can insert up to 10,000 transactions into it.

  1. Download the template from our tutorial.

  2. Follow our instructions to fill it out. ⚠️ It is crucial to follow the correct data formatting.

  3. You can use an AI assistant to help fill out your file:

    • Provide your AI with the link to the tutorial.

    • Provide it with the empty template file.

    • Provide it with the transaction file from your unsupported platform.

  4. Once the file is filled out, click here to import it into Waltio.

💡 Additional information

  • Just because a platform is not supported by Waltio doesn't mean it never will be. We regularly add new platforms based on customer requests. You can submit your request on our feedback page.
