There may be times when you want to switch plans. You can switch from one plan to another in a few clicks, by following this tutorial.

You can switch from Free to Basic, from Free to Premium and from Basic to Premium. It is not possible to change to a plan lower than your current plan, for the same year. If you make this change, it will only be effective for the following year.

Example 1: I am in Free for the reporting of 2022 transactions and I make a change to be in Premium, the update is done instantly. I am now in Premium for 2022.

Example 2: I am in Premium for the declaration of the transactions of 2022, and I make a modification to be in Basic, the update will be done at the next deadline. I will remain in Premium for 2022 and will switch to Basic for 2023.

Here are the steps to follow to change your subscription:

Step 1: Click on “Change Plan.”

👉 At the top left, when you have more transactions than your plan allows:

👉 Either on the “My plan” page:

Step 2: Select the plan that suits you, then click on “Continue”. In the example, we will choose the Premium plan:

Step 3: Select the payment method, check the subscription details and click on “Subscribe”:

💡 If you have money in your Waltio kitty, you just have to click “Use” and the amount will be deducted from your total subscription amount. For example, I have €60 in my kitty. My subscription will cost me €1139.

You can also use a promo code, if you have one.

💡 Paying with cryptocurrency is not a subscription, but a one-time payment. Therefore, you will have to start the subscription process again every year.

Step 4: You will be redirected to the Stripe payment page. Add your payment information, then click “Pay” :

Once the payment is completed, you will be redirected to the “My Analysis” page:

🎉 You are now in the Premium plan.

If you want to look ahead to next year and change your plan to a lower plan, here's how:

Step 1: Go to the “My Plan” page, then click on “Change plan” :

Step 2: Enter your email address, associated with your Waltio account, in order to complete a verification, then click on “Envoyer le code” :

You will receive the confirmation code on this email address.

Step 3: Click on “Modifier le plan”:

Step 4: Select the Basic plan:

👉 Then confirm:

💡 You will not be charged the amount of the new plan (€179).

👉 You remain in Premium and will switch to Basic next year:

🎉 Voilà, you've anticipated your plan for next year.
