Export your main public keys from your Exodus wallet to your Waltio account

Updated over 8 months ago

Hello πŸ‘‹

πŸ‘‰ To add a public address to your Waltio account, please follow the article linked to the relevant blockchain on this page.

πŸ‘‰ To add the file containing all your transactions from Exodus, please follow this tutorial.

To add your master public keys via Exodus, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to your Exodus account

Step 2: Go to the "wallet" page, then click on the relevant blockchain corner, e.g. BTC for the Bitcoin blockchain.

πŸ’‘ We currently support the main keys Bitcoin, Bitcoin cash, Litecoin and Doge, on Exodus.

Step 3:

a) Click on the three dots on the right of your screen to open the menu

b) click on "Export XPub".

This will create a folder called exodus-exports on your desktop containing a .txt file. In this file you can find your XPub key (and ZPub if you are exporting Bitcoin). ZPub is another master key format, which is not yet supported by Waltio.

Step 4: Copy your XPub and paste it into Waltio:

- Go to "Blockchain"

- Click on "Bitcoin" and then on "API key or address".

- Paste the XPub key

- Click on "Connect".

πŸ‘‰ The addition process may take a few minutes. Once the XPub has been added correctly, you will see all your addresses individually on your account.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us via the chat just at the bottom right of your screen! πŸ’¬
