OKX - API

How to connect OKX to Waltio using an API? Follow this tutorial to automatically import your crypto transactions safely.

OKX

📝 Description

This article explains how to connect your OKX account to Waltio via API.

👉 Using the API allows you to automatically synchronize your deposits and withdrawals, but trade transactions must be imported via file.

⚠️ Important - Residents in Europe / Eurozone: If you reside in Europe, your account is not hosted on OKX but on myOKX. On Waltio, make sure to select the platform that applies to you.

⚠️ Warnings

  • The OKX API does not retrieve all transactions. Only deposits and withdrawals are automatically synchronized.

  • Trades must be added via file: Import a file.

  • If you delete or modify your API keys, synchronization will be blocked.

  • Deleting a key will result in the loss of any manual modifications applied to transactions imported via API.

  • If you add files containing transactions already retrieved via API, those transactions will be duplicated.

  • When adding your account to Waltio, you must imperatively select "OKX" from the list of platforms, and not "myOKX".

💡 Recommendations

  • We recommend using files only for full data recovery.

  • Do not link an IP address when creating the API key.
