Hi there ๐
This tutorial shows you how to retrieve your historical transactions on the Solana blockchain (SOL). It also works for the Phantom wallet containing Solana addresses.
๐ก If your Solana address is associated with a name service, you can add it instead of the address. The result is the same, but it's faster for you.
Step 1 : Retrieve the public key from the wallet
- Go to used Solana wallet
- Copy the address of his wallet (public key)
Step 2 : On Waltio:
- Go to โWalletsโ
- Click on Solana
- Paste the address of the wallet indicated above
๐ก The holding of cold storage wallets (type Ledger, Trezor, Metamask etc...) does not need to be declared. Only accounts held abroad (exchange platforms such as Coinbase, Kraken etc...) must be declared. declared using the form 3916-BIS.
๐ก As with ERC20s, you can have tokens (SPL) for Solana, but you should be aware that an address must have a dedicated address for each token. And querying for the "primary address" does not return all transactions. For this reason, we first need to get all token addresses, and query all addresses.
๐ก We cover the Liquidity Program case but do not cover the NFT use case at this time for tax reasons.
โ ๏ธ Some transactions will result in multiple inputs/outputs, which is not possible in the Waltio's format.
When this happens, we create one transaction per "movement" (example).
