🎯 An API connection is now available for Coinbase Pro, the implementation of the API guarantees better data quality and therefore calculation of capital gains. Moreover, it is much easier. We therefore recommend that you set up an API synchronization.

Step 1: Log in to your Coinbase Pro account.

Step 2: Go to the declarations page

Step 3: Hover over the "Generate" tab and click on the "Account option".

Step 4: Generate the report with the following options
· Accounts: "All accounts"
· "Custom time range"
· Dates: Choose start and end dates that encompass all of your crypto activity
· Format : "CSV"
· Email : "Your email"
· Click on "Generate report"

Step 5: Now you have to reproduce steps 3 and 4 with the “fills” type files.

Step 6: You will receive an email with a link to download your CSV file.

😎 If you are unable to download the CSV file by clicking the button in the email, please follow these steps:

Step 7: Once your report is uploaded, upload it to Waltio.

⚠️ It is important to file the two "Fills" and "Account" files to access your complete history of transactions, deposits and withdrawals and therefore correctly calculate your taxable capital gains.

💡 Unfortunately, Coinbase Pro decides to remove deactivated markets like XRP/EUR from their systems. Waltio therefore cannot be "aware" of their existence. Most platforms just disable them, but Coinbase Pro disables them from their listings (this is related to their currently ongoing US lawsuit).

Our only suggestion if Ripple transactions are missing is to extract from the transactions related to the Ripple and add these manually.

⚠️ Opening and saving a CSV file can sometimes modify it's structure, thus blocking automatic lecture by our program. Once files from Coinbase Pro files are downloaded please, do not open them or modify their names so that we can read it correctly !
