This page explains how to connect your CoinEx account to Waltio via an API key.

👉 This allows you to automatically synchronize your transactions and avoid manual file imports.

⚠️ Warnings

  • If you import files in addition to using the API, your transactions will be duplicated.

  • If you delete your API keys, Waltio will no longer be able to synchronize your transactions.

  • If you modify your keys, they will be disabled.

💡 Recommendations

  • Keep your Access ID and Secret Key in a safe place.

  • Do not delete your API keys to avoid losing the labels and adjustments you have made on Waltio.

📂 How to access your data

  1. Log in to your CoinEx account.

  2. Click on your avatar in the top right corner, then on API Management.

  3. Click on Add an API.

  4. Add a name (e.g., Waltio Key), enter your 2FA code, and click Create.

  5. Your key is displayed: copy the Access ID and the Secret Key.

📤 How to export your data

  • The API automatically retrieves all of your CoinEx transactions.

  • Two options are available when connecting:

    1. Retrieve all data since the account was created.

    2. Retrieve only data since the last transaction present on Waltio.

➕ How to add your data to Waltio

  1. Go to the Connect my API page on Waltio.

  2. Enter your CoinEx Access ID and Secret Key.
