Liquid - API

Updated yesterday

Liquid

📝 Description

This article explains how to generate Liquid API keys and connect them to Waltio.
👉 The Liquid API supports withdrawals and trading, but not deposits. To import deposits, follow this Liquid file tutorial.

⚠️ Warnings

  • The API does not read deposits. Import them via file: Liquid guide.

  • Waltio only needs Read permissions.

  • The secret key is shown only once. Save it immediately.

  • We only integrate closed orders: learn more.

  • Deleting or editing keys stops sync and may lose edits (labels, prices, etc.) on API-imported transactions.

  • Adding files that contain transactions already fetched by API will create duplicates.

💡 Recommendations

  • Create a dedicated read-only key for Waltio across: Accounts, Executions, Orders, Positions, Trading Accounts, Withdrawals.

  • Store keys securely and never share your secret.

  • If you fix permissions/keys later, contact support via the chatbot (weekly syncs).
