Export your Extended Public Keys from your Ledger wallet to your Waltio account

Updated over a week ago

Hi there 👋

👉 To add a public address to your Waltio account, please follow the article related to the relevant blockchain on this page.

👉 To add the file containing all your transactions from Exodus, please follow this tutorial.

To add your master public keys via Exodus, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Login to Ledger Live

💡 We currently support Bitcoin, Bitcoin cash, Litecoin and Doge master keys, on Ledger.

Step 2:

  1. Go to the account you want to get your master key for, for example Bitcoin, and click on the wrench icon.

  2. Choose “Advanced” in the “Edit Account” window that opens.

  3. Copy your XPub. This is the long alphanumeric string starting with xpub...

💡 For Bitcoin, we support XPub but not YPub and ZPub. XPub are related to “legacy” accounts while the others, to “native segwit” and “segwit” accounts.

Step 5: Copy your XPub and paste it to Waltio:

- Go to “Blockchain”

- Click on “Bitcoin” and then on “API key or address”.

- Paste the XPub key

- Click on “Connect me”

👉 The addition process may take a few minutes. Once the XPub is added correctly, you will see all of your addresses individually on your account.
