Ledger Live

How to import your Ledger Live transactions into Waltio using a file? Follow this tutorial to add your crypto operations easily and safely.

Ledger

📝 Description

This guide explains three ways to add your Ledger transactions into Waltio: syncing via Ledger Live, adding public addresses, and importing a transaction history file.
👉 Recommended to centralize your tax data and ensure accurate capital gains calculations.

⚠️ Warnings

  • Operation history export is available only from the desktop Ledger Live app (not on mobile).

  • Timestamps exported by Ledger are in UTC; Waltio displays them in Paris time, which may shift the displayed hour.

  • Small timing differences of a few minutes between deposits and withdrawals can trigger warnings; adjust if needed.

  • If you import both public address data (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin) and a Ledger Live file, duplicates may occur. Remove them to keep capital gains accurate.

💡 Recommendations

  • Preferred method: Ledger Live sync (simple and automatic).

  • Add all your addresses to cover your full transaction history.

  • After import, review your stock sheet and resolve any duplicates.

  • Keep files and screenshots as supporting evidence.
