Unknown token deposits

What are these tokens and where do they come from?

Updated today

πŸ“ Description

You may receive tokens on some of your decentralised wallets or even on your exchange platforms that you have never bought.

Most of these airdrops occur on your Binance Smart Chain (BSC) wallet. You can find them at BSC Scan by entering your address, then going to "BEP-20 Tokens Txns".

  • The process is the same with the Ethereum blockchain: Etherscan β†’ "ERC-20 Tokens Txns".

  • And Polygon: Polygonscan β†’ "ERC-20 Tokens Txns".

The majority of the time, these deposits are linked to "airdrop scams", literally scams. Malicious people hope that you will exchange them on their platform.

⚠️ Avertissements / Warnings

  • 🚨 We strongly advise you not to touch them, because by connecting your wallet to their site, you could sign a transaction that would empty your wallet.

πŸ“‚ What to do with these tokens on Waltio?

1. Option 1: Delete these transactions

2. Option 2: Add them to your list of worthless tokens (recommended)

πŸ’‘ Additional Information

  • If your gain seems totally inconsistent, it could be an airdrop from a token named Alpaca, Whale, Vera, Stake, Alice, Dinu, Flux, SSX, KICK. Or tokens with a website to visit in their name, as shown in the screenshot above.

  • If your gain seems completely inconsistent and you can't find the token in the previous list, it may be a scam bearing the name of a real crypto creating a false valuation in your wallet.
