Meria - API (Just-Mining)

Create an API on Meria to automatically upload your transactions to Waltio

Updated over a year ago

Hi there 👋

To be able to use the API, you need to generate a unique API key pair, using the following tutorial.

Step 1: Go to your Dashboard and select “My account” from the left menu:

Step 2: Click on API in the page that appears :

Step 3: Copy the key that appears automatically

Step 4: Add the key to your Waltio account:

🪧 More information about the Meria API key:

1️⃣ The Meria API does not read the initial LKMEX airdrop. You will have to add it manually.

2️⃣ The Meria API does not read the ERD-EGLD swap made in September 2020. You will have to create it manually following this tutorial.

3️⃣ Synchronization can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. While waiting for us to retrieve your Meria transaction history, you can upload files from other accounts or connect other APIs.

4️⃣ It may take several hours for deposits to arrive at Meria. Our matching algorithm will not automatically match the deposit and the withdrawal. You will be able, with the new version in February 2022, to match them in the interface. You can also label the withdrawal “Transfer between accounts”.

5️⃣ All of your transactions will be read by the API (except for credit lines, but those are not necessary, that's internal Just Mining management) so those of 2021 included, however, we do not take them into account to calculate your taxable amount for the year 2020.

6️⃣ For trade, the fees are not actually charged in either currency, the percentage directly affects the exchange rate used in the conversion. The fees are therefore deducted from the volume.

Example: Let's consider a BUSD-DAI exchange, the average rate is 1:1. By applying a 1% fee, the rate is adjusted to 1:0.99. The exchange of 10 BUSD will then produce a reception of 9.9 DAI.

👉 If you still want to choose one of the two currencies, we advise you to use the source currency (it corresponds to the same volume as the transaction), it will be simpler for management.

7️⃣ If you add files containing API-read transactions, Waltio will duplicate the relevant transactions. If you already had Meria files on your Waltio account, our API gives you a choice. It will present you with two options:

👉 Recovering all data from your Meria account since its inception.

👉 Recovering all data since the most recent transaction date on your Waltio account.

8️⃣ You should not delete your keys or change the permissions because it will complicate the analysis :

  1. If you have already deleted your keys, then we will not be able to synchronize automatically. So you will have to create new ones.

  2. If you have already modified your keys, then we put them in disabled mode.

  3. If you correct afterward, you will have to contact us, because we do weekly synchronizations.

  4. Deleting the keys will automatically cause the loss of all modifications (recording of labels, prices, etc.) made on the transactions retrieved via API.
