This article explains how to connect your Poloniex account to Waltio via API.
👉 The API only supports trades executed after 30/07/2021. For older trades, you must add a history file.
⚠️ Warnings
Only trades after 30/07/2021 can be retrieved via API.
Trade history older than one year is no longer available via API.
Withdrawals are disabled by default and should not be enabled. Waltio only requires read permissions.
Deleting or modifying API keys interrupts synchronization and causes loss of transaction modifications (labels, prices, etc.).
Adding files containing transactions already imported by API will create duplicates.
💡 Recommendations
Contact Poloniex support to request a history file for trades before 30/07/2021.
Keep your API keys active with read-only permissions.
If synchronization errors occur, contact Waltio support via chat.
📂 How to access your data
Log in to your Poloniex account.
Go to the Settings tab, then API Keys.
📤 How to export your data
Click Enable API, enter your 2FA code, and confirm via the email from do-not-reply@poloniex.com.
Create a new API key and confirm again with 2FA and email.
Retrieve your API key and secret.
