Find and download your transaction history from an Polkadex address

Updated over 2 years ago

Hi there 👋

This tutorial shows you how to retrieve your transaction history on the Polkadex blockchain as well as for Polkadex wallets.

Step 1: Recover your public key from the wallet
- Go to the used Polkadex wallet

- Copy the address of your wallet (public key)

Step 2: On Waltio

- Click on "Optimism" then on "API key or address".

- Paste the wallet address given above

- Click on "Login".

💡 Holding cold storage wallets (Ledger type, Trezor, Metamask etc...) do not need to be declared.Only accounts held abroad (exchange platforms such as Coinbase, Kraken etc...) need to be declared via the 3916-BIS form.

⚠️ If you have imported transactions from a public key on Waltio and a file from Ledger Live, there is a good chance that some transactions are present in both transaction histories! This will create duplicates (easily identifiable by looking at your inventory record) that you will need to manually delete in order for your capital gains calculation to be correct.

To Delete a transaction manually - in Step 2 - it is recommended to do the following:

On My Transactions (at the top of your screen) click on the transactions in question and then, click on the trash can.

If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to contact us via the chat just at the bottom right of your screen! 💬
