Find and download its transaction history from a Doge address

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Hi there 👋

This tutorial shows you how to retrieve your transaction history on the Doge blockchain as well as for Doge wallets.

Step 1: Retrieve your public key from the wallet

- Go to the Doge wallet that you use

- Copy the address of the wallet (public key)

Step 2: On Waltio

- Click on "Doge" then on "API key or address"

- Paste the address of the wallet entered above

- Click on "Connect"

⚠️ On DogeCoin, one transaction = one address. You'll need to add all the addresses you use. We no longer support Dgpub. If you use a Ledger, the most efficient solution is to add a file containing all your Dogecoin transactions.

💡 The holding of cold storage wallets (like Ledger, Trezor, Metamask etc...) does not need to be declared. Only accounts held abroad (in exchange platforms such as Coinbase, Kraken etc...) must be declared using the 3916-BIS form.

⚠️ If you have imported transactions from a public key on Waltio and a file from Ledger Live, there is a good chance that certain operations are present in both transaction histories! This will therefore create duplicates (easily identifiable by looking at your stock card) that you will have to manually delete so that your capital gains calculation is correct.

To Delete a transaction manually - in Step 2 - it is recommended to do the following:

On my Transactions (at the top of your screen) click on the transactions in question and then, click on the trash can.

If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to contact us via the chat just at the bottom right of your screen! 💬
