📝 Description
This tutorial explains how to add NFTs from platforms not supported by Waltio (example: Sorare, Stepn).
The taxation of NFTs is complex. The tax regime for capital gains on digital assets should not define NFTs as digital assets, creating a legal blur.
For practical purposes, Waltio reads them as cryptocurrencies. The valuation is done on the date of entry (date of purchase). If NFTs are exchanged for other cryptocurrencies, this does not constitute a taxable event in our tool.

📂 Tutorial
Example: You bought a NFT with 0.5 ETH on Sorare, exchanged this NFT for 1 ETH on Sorare, then withdrew your ETH from the platform.
We recommend creating 3 manual transactions on Waltio (these transactions cannot be added automatically because Sorare is not supported).
⚠️ All transactions must be performed on the same Platform (e.g.: SORARE).
1. Label the existing withdrawal
Waltio will have already captured the withdrawal of 0.5 ETH from your Ethereum Wallet. This withdrawal appears with a "Withdrawal to be labeled" warning. Label it with the "Other withdrawal" label.
2. Create a 0.5 ETH deposit labeled "Gain"
Create a Deposit transaction of 0.5 ETH, indicate SORARE in the "Platform" field, and assign the label "Gain".
3. Create a withdrawal of 1 ETH
Create a Withdrawal transaction of 1 ETH on the same SORARE platform.
