Polygon (MATIC)

Find and download your Polygon transaction history

Updated over a week ago

Hi there 👋

This tutorial shows you how to recover your transactions on the Polygon blockchain.

1️⃣ From your wallet :

👉 Copy your public address (public key)

💡 If your address is associated with a name service, you can add it instead of the address. The result is the same, but it's faster for you.

2️⃣ On Waltio :

👉 Paste your public key :

Then wait a few minutes for your transactions to synchronize!

And that's it, your transactions are added to your Waltio account 🎉

🪧 Some important information:

1️⃣ French taxation:

❌ Storage wallet holdings (Ledger, Trezor, Metamask, etc.) do not need to be reported via Form 3916-BIS, i.e. as an account held abroad.

✅ Transactions in your storage wallet are to be considered when calculating your capital gain or loss, Schedule 2086.

2️⃣ Overlay with Ledger:

If you have already imported your public key via the Ledger integration, then you do not need to add the key a second time.

3️⃣ Some bridge transactions of this type cannot be taken into account automatically by Waltio and must be added manually via a file in Waltio's format. If you have negatives balances, it is important to check on PolygonScan if you have made bridge transactions.

⚠️ Some transactions may not be taken into account because tools reading the blockchain like Covalent are not able to read these transactions 😕

For example, Paraswap trades can be misread on Polygon.
