Transactions - Spain - Deposit labels

This article explains which label to select to categorize your deposit transactions as a Spanish tax resident.

📝 Description

This guide lists the deposit labels available on Waltio for Spanish tax residents. Each label carries specific tax implications for FIFO calculations and the taxation of your operations.

  • 👉 AP = Acquisition Price

⚠️ Warnings

  • The applicable calculation method in Spain is FIFO (First In, First Out).

  • In Spain, when passive income is received, it is deemed to have been acquired at its market value on the date of receipt.

  • Unlabeled deposits are treated by default as acquired at their market value on the date of receipt.

  • All deposits must be labeled or matched as an internal transfer.

💡 Additional Information

  • If you use the Internal Transfer label, you must apply it to both the withdrawal and the deposit. Example: you transfer 1 ETH from your Binance account to your MetaMask wallet. You have a withdrawal on Binance and a deposit on MetaMask: both transactions must be labeled Internal Transfer.

  • To label your transactions, go to the My Transactions page.
